So apparently there's this pretty big brush fire less than three miles away from my house. There's been constant sounds of sirens and helicopters all afternoon. So far, there hasn't been any evacuation orders, but then again I can't seem to find any news source talking about this. With most of Southern California already burning, they're too busy talking about the other fires.
Here's what the view from our balcony looked like around 6:00pm:

Now that it's after dusk and the sky is dark, you can barely make out any of the smoke, except for the red hazed moon that's hardly visible.
UPDATE: I finally found a reputable source of news regarding this fire incident. They say my immediate area doesn't have a mandatory or voluntary evacuation, but I'm still going to pack a bag and gather important documents/photos -- just in case.
